Terrifying 'Alien' Creature Found On Sydney Streets After Massive Rain

We've suffered bushfires, a pandemic, Russia invading Ukraine and now...aliens.

It's 2022 and in recent years Australia has been through so much - vicious bushfires, a pandemic, severe flooding, toilet paper hoarding, a Prime Minister who vanishes at pretty much every opportunity, Russia invading Ukraine, and now... this.

A Sydney lad decided to go for a jog early on Monday (February 28) morning and spotted this bizarre thing on the road.

Harry Hayes told LADbible Australia he was jogging through Marrickville when he stumbled on what he could only assume was an alien.

"My gut says it's some kind of embryo but with Covid, World War III, and the floods [going on right now] this could very well be an alien," Hayes said.

Alien? Bunyip? A herald for the upcoming apocalypse? No one knows.
Alien? Bunyip? A herald for the upcoming apocalypse? No one knows.

Honestly, we wouldn't be surprised if that was true either, and we are not here for it.

Australia's east coast has been lashed by heavy rain and flooding in recent days, but this odd little dude wasn't found in a flood zone and has had us at LADbible Australia scratching our heads.

Is it an alien? A monster? A bunyip? Only time will tell... and we just hope it comes in peace.

LADbible has approached the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales to identify this creature - so far, no academic has been able to do so.

Or perhaps this odd little creature is heralding the next great flood.

The ‘rain bomb’ that soaked Brisbane and triggered massive floods across the Queensland capital is now making its way south to dump Sydney with up to 200mm worth of rain expected.

Although the Bureau of Meteorology had predicted a dump of 150mm to 200mm worth of rain for Sydney, the warning has now been pared back.

Instead, Sydneysiders and residents across NSW’s central coast can expect at most 120mm worth of rain - so still a monster rain front.

BOM has also issued life-threatening flash flooding and high wind warnings across the state.

Motorists have been warned to look out for landslides and debris as the heavy rains hit, and ‘if it’s flooded, forget it’.
