Albert Einstein is quoted as saying, 'There are only two ways to live your life: as though nothing is a miracle, or as though everything is a miracle.'
If you are reading this, then you most likely subscribe to the former outlook, because who would care about a miracle shampoo in a world of miracles?
The shampoo in question purports to help 'hair growth, slowing the rate of hair loss, improving your natural growth rate or thickness and condition'. However, there are many products on the market that claim to do similar, yet there are many thin-haired and hairless people going about - so what's so special about this?
Well, Watermans Hair Growth Shampoo and Conditioner has received 435 five star reviews on Amazon, many of which hail 'miracle' results. People have also been sharing before and after hairlines photos on social media, because in this day and age, we're immediately calling bullshit on miracles if you don't have pictures to back it up.
One of the many glowing reviews reads as follows: "My miracle shampoo, I love it!
"My hair has been falling out for years. Never been given a proper diagnosis for it. Even after various different doctors I decided to try amazon for a shampoo.
"Saw all the great reviews for Watermans decided to try it. All in all this has been by far the best treatment. My hair is much fuller and thicker looking.
"I love the smell of it and my hair has grown longer length wise too. I have even found my scalp condition has improved. 100% worth the money and would recommend this shampoo to anybody who has hair loss problems."
Another reads: "I have struggled with some hair loss from stress and I can say that this product has really helped bring my hair to life again. I was sceptical at first but it took about 1-2 weeks of me using the products regularly to notice the difference and my hair loss has definitely reduced significantly.
"I would honestly say for the other sceptics out there to give it a try! Definitely my new go to shampoo and conditioner!"
So how much will a miracle set me back, I hear you ask?
A combo pack containing a 250ml bottle of shampoo and a 250ml of conditioner is available from Amazon for £24.95. That's pretty expensive for shampoo and conditioner, or pretty cheap for a 'miracle', depends how you look at it.
But if you're as bald as Bruce Willis, or an eagle, don't get too excited. This seems to be a 'miracle' within bounds, best for those with a bit of thinning, rather than a total moult.
Indeed, the product comes with a disclaimer, warning that the 'miracle' won't happen for everybody. It reads: "Results may vary from person to person, it's not going to work for everyone, but when it does the results are awesome."
If you want my advice, then give this a bash if you're in the early stages of thinning. However, if you're desperately clinging to your last few strands, you should probably embrace baldness. After all, it's better to be bald than balding.
