More horrifying details have emerged in the case of the teenage girl whose dead body was found in the boot of a US singer's car.
Celeste Rivas was just 13 when she first went missing from Lake Elsinore in California, with a missing person poster suggesting that she was last seen all the way back in April 2024.
Her body was only discovered when a 'foul smell' started emitting from the boot of a Tesla in September this year, with the Los Angeles Police Department called to investigate.

It later emerged that the car was registered to singer-songwriter D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, and questions were immediately raised.
A spokesperson for D4vd, who was on tour when the girl's remains were found, said at the time: "D4vd has been informed about what's happened.

"And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities."
An investigation into Rivas' death has been launched by police.
Although he hasn't been charged with any crime, D4vd has now reportedly been identified as a potential suspect in the case.
One of the biggest barriers in the case has been identifying exactly how and when Rivas died but the latest update means that could prove very difficult, as it has been reported that her body was found 'partially frozen, dismembered and decapitated'.
According to TMZ, investigators didn't know if the body was male or female at first and, because of its severe state, a cause of death will likely be 'undetermined'.
However, authorities can still move forward with an arrest without a cause of death.

A number of details have emerged about D4vd's alleged connection to Rivas, who would now have been 15.
The pair allegedly had similar tattoos, while social media sleuths also identified that the 20-year-old singer has a song called 'Celeste' in his discography.
D4vd sings: "Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest / Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes / I hear her voice each time I take a breath / I’m obsessed."
He goes on to say: "Afraid you'll only love me when undressed / But you look so damn gorgeous in that dress / Missing you so much makes me depressed / But I digress, because..."
Matthew Rivas, the brother of Celeste, also told NBCLA in September that family members living in Lake Elsinore were allegedly aware that she knew D4vd.
LADbible has contacted D4vd's representatives, the LAPD and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner for comment.
