The woman who recorded that footage at Coldplay's concert in Boston has shared an 'update' on her involvement in the supposed scandal.

Grace Springer, who hails from New Jersey, is the woman responsible for capturing the now-viral footage which allegedly shows married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron cuddling up with a colleague.

The video has been plastered across pretty much every corner of the internet by this point, and it didn't take long before social media sleuths began to claim they had identified the people involved as Bryon and Kristin Cabot, Astronomer's Chief People Officer.

As Coldplay's kiss cam zoomed in on the man and woman as they watched the concert, the pair instantly sprung apart and appeared as though they wanted the ground to swallow them up.

Due to their intense reaction, the band's frontman Chris Martin jokingly told the audience: "Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy."

There's been quite a few developments since the clip of this moment went viral - including a fake statement from Byron circulating online, a bloke with the same name having to explain it isn't him and Astronomer finally addressing the situation, explaining a 'formal investigation' is now underway.

The software company has also since announced that the CEO has now been 'placed on leave', meaning it's safe to say the footage from the Coldplay concert has had quite the chain reaction.

So it's no wonder that people want to get the gossip straight from the horse's mouth and have been badgering Grace Springer to give them the lowdown.

On Friday (19 July), she finally appeased the masses and offered an 'update' on the situation - although Grace admitted she 'doesn't have much to say' on the matter.

However, she did answer a few burning questions which social media users had about the Coldplay concert saga.

Explaining how she captured the now infamous footage - which has racked up over 84.6 million views on her TikTok profile - she told her followers: "I pulled out my phone hoping I would be on the jumbo screen, and then it was Andy instead.

"So...yeah. To answer some common questions. such as, have lawyers contacted me - no.

"Another question is, how much money have I made from this. Let's just say, I couldn't take you out to dinner."

Grace said the reaction to the video was 'overwhelming, to say the least', before urging people to remember that there are 'real people' involved in this.

"I'm glad you guys are entertained and that I can make your internet experience fun for the last few days, but at the end of the day, Andy's wife and his family, they're very real people," Grace said. "So yeah, just keep that in mind."

She then turned her attention back to Coldplay, describing the Brit band's show in Boston as the 'best concert she's ever been to in her life'.

Grace added: "Chris Martin, if you're seeing this, I am so sorry for the drama. But if anything, I hope that all of this attention is bringing you even more fans that you deserve, and people deserve to hear your music.

"I love you so much and, if you wanna invite me to your show at Wembley Stadium in London, I promise to keep my phone away the entire time!"

I mean, who can blame a girl for trying to blag a free ticket to another show after all this?
