Living Nostradamus has chilling prediction that will decide the future of global order

The future of global power will be decided by space, according to a prediction from a man known as the 'Living Nostradamus'.

Athos Salomé has made a career out of predicting the future, with the Brazilian mystic claiming to have foreseen events such as the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

That isn't all either, as the 39-year-old also shared his thoughts on the future of the US-Iran conflict and the likelihood of a 'hostile alien threat' putting humanity at peril.

His latest warning is also space-based, but has less to do with aliens and more focus on the doings of various global superpowers.

The Earth’s orbit will become the planet’s next strategic territory

"The next global hegemony will be determined not by what’s on Earth's land, but whether an orbital power dominates," Salomé recently told LADbible.

But what does this mean exactly?

Upon first glance, Salomé's latest warning reads less like a prediction and more like stating the obvious. After all, tech billionaires Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos were recently reported to be entering into an AI space race following plans to launch tens of thousands of satellites into the cosmos.

And how could we forget the tech start-up filing for permission to station a bunch of space mirrors around the planet and keep us in a state of constant daylight – which is almost certainly not what Zara Larsson meant when she wrote the line 'a never-ending midnight sun'.

However, for Salomé, this prediction is less about the whims of billionaires and more about how the cosmos could be used for military strength.

Claiming that private companies are already 'building asteroid-mining projects' while the militaries of superpowers are 'pouring billions' into the creation of 'autonomous satellites and classified orbital technologies', Salomé predicts that space-stationed weapons will be the norm within the years to come.

Let's just hope that militarisation doesn't speed up the likelihood of Kessler Syndrome becoming a reality...

Advancements in quantum computing and the end of privacy

Futuristic space races aren't the only thing on Salomé's mind at the moment either, as the clairvoyant also warned that the advancements in quantum computing could lead to a turning point in humanity which rivals the discovery of electricity.

Described as an advanced computer which utilises quantum physics to solve complex problems, quantum computers could be capable of generating answers to solve issues that normal computers either couldn't or would need millions of years to solve within minutes (via IBM).

Research into quantum computers is still ongoing, which means they're a long way from being available to the public; however, Salomé believes they will lead to the collapse of modern security as we know it.

Arguing that banking systems, passwords, diplomatic communications and military

networks all have used mathematical means that quantum computers may soon break within minutes, Salomé added: "The entire world will have to rebuild its digital security architecture. Governments are already quietly moving toward what the experts refer to as 'post-quantum cryptography'."
