Footage Shows 'Fleet' Of Mysterious Glowing Lights Above The Ocean

Have you ever seen a light FLOATING IN THE SKY?! If the answer to that question is no, then prepare to be amazed.

Footage taken somewhere off the coast of North Carolina, USA, shows what conspiracy theorists are sure is a 'fleet' of UFOs.

The video was taken on board a ferry by William Guy, who was travelling across the Pamlico Sound lagoon when he spotted the 14 lights hovering in the air.

As the camera pans across the horizon, Mr Guy says: "Look, nothing in the sky, at all."

Then, as the 'fleet of UFOs' come into shot, he says: "Can anybody tell me what that is? We're in the middle of the ocean, on a ferry. There's nothing around, no land, no nothing."

Evidently, Mr Guy isn't aware of things being in the sky unless they are in some way attached to land. However, his appeal for anyone to tell him what the lights were was emphatically answered - by the UFO conspiracy theorist community.

Several YouTube channels dedicated to such conspiracy theories shared the footage, describing it as a video of a 'UFO fleet'.

One person commented: "The outer orbit of the Earth is swarming with alien advanced craft. Earth is under heavy observation."

So there you have it. That. Is. That.

Unless of course you are more inclined to believe this guy's explanation: "It's not a UFO, they're training targets for military aircraft."

Earlier this year, a former NASA researcher claimed the UFO spotted by two jets from USS Nimitz in 2004 may have been watching over something submerged under water.

The encounter only came to light in 2017 following a New York Times report which revealed the US government had a special programme designated to tracking UFOs. A video showed the UFO - which is formally known as a Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) and looks a bit like a Tic-Tac - appearing to fly in front of camera.

Kevin H. Knuth - a former NASA research scientist - has speculated that the UAP may have been tracking something under water, based on the description of witness and Navy Chief Petty Officer Kevin Day.

According to the Daily Star, Knuth writes in his research paper 'Estimating Flight Characteristics of Anomalous Unidentified Aerial Vehicles': "The thought was triggered by Kevin Day's description of the UAPs as acting as if they were migrating.

"They also seemed to act like they were looking for something by slowly tracking south at 100 knots or so at 28,000ft altitude. The Tic-Tac UAP was then observed to be hovering with erratic motion over the churning water.

"An encounter with the Tic-Tac UAP ensued. After the encounter the submerged object was no longer present.

"Clearly, the UAP was interested in the submerged object."
