Woman Left In Flood Of Tears After Going On Night Out By Herself

The TikToker hopped from one venue to the other in hope of meeting new people

A woman was left in tears after bravely trying to go on a night out by herself with the hopes of meeting someone new. Watch below as she documents her evening on TikTok:

Angelica Peck (@angelicaexplainsitall), from Philadelphia, revealed that she ditched dating apps for the year and meet people more organically.

"So tonight, it's Friday, I'm gonna go out by myself," she said.

She began showing off her outfit choice jeans and a skull-print shirt.

Angelica says she headed to a Jazz bar but it was overcrowded, which opted her to try out a new place.

As the evening went on, the TikToker would look more and more visably upset.

"I don't know what I thought," she said, wiping away the tears.

"I genuinely thought that I was going to meet people.

"The jazz bar was too crowded, there wasn't even anywhere to sit," she added.

Despite the unpleasant experience, Angelica is determined to try again.

She went on to say: "I'm, gonna go again.

"And I'm gonna keep trying. But that was.... That was really hard."

Thankfully, those in the comments section were supportive and encouraged her to give it another go.

"This is Big Dream Energy! going out alone is SO hard and takes such courage. You ARE the main character!! Keep going bb," one wrote.

"My first solo night out I had the exact same experience. Cried as soon as I got home and felt so alone. We're so conditioned to be in groups," another added.

"Learning to vibe solo is such an amazing thing! It's a learned skill. Just keep with it. I started with dive bars in philly that are small and quiet," another commented.

"So proud of you. It's not easy. Hang in there. You can do this. It requires a lot of trial and effort and publishing yourself to say hi to others," someone else said.

The video, posted on 18 January, racked up a mega 1.4 million views.
