A 27-year-old influencer from Los Angeles has opened up about how a trip to get her lips filled ended in disaster.
As she took to social media to show off her massive monster pout, Jessica Burko revealed she has had her lips done at least six times in the past but had never experienced such a massive reaction.
"I went to go get my lips done yesterday, and something bad happened," she began in a TikTok clip.

The short video included 'before' clips of her at the cosmetic injectables clinic with numbing cream on before changing to a horrific 'after' shot.
Her lips had swollen to such an astronomical size she could have earned herself a spot on the plastic surgery fail TV show Botched.
"I honestly don’t know what went wrong, I had my lips done multiple times," she said in the clip.
She went on to explain what happened on the day.
“This doctor was doing a giveaway," she said.
"He did everything he was supposed to do. Immediately after he injected me, I looked in the mirror and realised how swollen I was."
She added: "I thought maybe it was because I hadn’t got my lips done in over a year. But by the time I got to my car, I realised it was not normal."
The influencer went on to reveal she went back inside the clinic where the doctor prescribed her a steroid cream to help with the swelling.
However, the swelling only got worse, so she returned the next day to have the filler dissolved.
She told her followers she had visited a new doctor to get the fillers after winning a free giveaway for Halloween.
"He certainly had me looking very scary," she said.
"I would never go back. Never do free cosmetics," she said.
Despite her disastrous lip explosion, she revealed she will still have hers filled in the future.
Just not by that guy.
"But also don’t be scared to get your lips done. I love getting them done, and I will be back to my regular girl," she said.
Burko claimed the doctor told her he had 'hit an artery', which had caused the intense swelling in her lips.
"The product and everything didn’t know where to go, so that is what caused the swelling," she explained.
Many in the comments section of her video disagreed with her explanation.
One user said: "If the doctor hit an artery, you would have a vascular occlusion. Your lips would be pale white and you’d be in intense pain."
Another added: "He did not hit an artery, this was a reaction."
