A host of never-before-seen images of Jeffrey Epstein's private home have just been released, marking the latest dramatic development in the ongoing saga surrounding the sex offender.
Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee dropped the haul of images and videos on Wednesday (3 December).
Explaining they offer 'a harrowing look behind Epstein's closed doors', the committee published ten images and four pieces of footage which were originally obtained by authorities in the US Virgin Islands five years ago.

One picture shows a landline phone in Epstein's home, which features a list of contacts. Some names are redacted, although contacts such as 'NY Office', 'Darren Off' and 'Darren Cell' can be seen in the snap.
Another noteworthy image is of a chalkboard, which has the words 'power' and 'deception' scrawled across it.
It also features the words 'mirror in face', 'time', 'intellectual', 'political', 'music', 'truth', and 'appears!', while some of the words are connected by lines.
The images also offered a look into several rooms in properties on Epstein's islands - Little Saint James and Great Saint James.

Chillingly, one bizarre snap appears to show a clinical looking room which features what appears to be a dentist chair, while an unsettling mask is hung on the wall.
Other images show a 'no trespassing sign' on Epstein's property, as well as ones which depict an outdoor swimming pool and an en-suite bedroom.
Robert Garcia, the committee's ranking Democrat, said the snaps form a 'disturbing look' into Epstein's life.

He said the cache of images and clips were being released to 'ensure public transparency'.

"These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island," Garcia said.
"We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

"We won’t stop fighting until we deliver justice for the survivors. It’s time for President Trump to release all the files, now."
In a post on X shared today (4 December), the House Oversight Committee added: "See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors."
The images and footage were taken at Epstein's notorious private islands in 2020 by authorities.

Stephen Deckoff, the founder of Black Diamond Capital Management, purchased Little Saint James for $60 million after Epstein's death.
The disgraced financier died by apparent suicide in a New York prison cell six years ago, although suggestions that he did not kill himself are still doing the rounds.
The dramatic dump of images comes weeks after the US House voted in favour of the Justice Department releasing all of the Epstein files.
