The terrifying story of a woman who was mauled to death while on the phone to her mother has resurfaced, with her harrowing final moments being unveiled.
In August 2011, a 19-year-old Olga Moskalyova decided to her on a summertime walk with eastern Siberia, Russia.
Joined by her stepfather Igor Tsyganenkov in the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky region of the country, the duo strolled alongside a local river.
However, the wholesome outing took a tragic turn when Olga and Igor were attacked by a vicious predator, overheard by Olga's mother Tatiana, who had been on the phone to her daughter.

Olga managed to speak to her mother before being ripped away from her phone, having initially called Tatiana out of fear.
In what is one of the most horrific ways to die, Olga and Igor fought to survive but sadly did not make it out alive.

What happened to Olga Moskalyova?
While on their stroll, the pair were attacked by a brown bear.
Olga dodged the animal at first, before witnessing the vicious mother bear attack and kill her stepfather, crushing his skull and snapping his neck in front of her eyes.
After watching Igor succumb to his injuries, Olga noticed the bear making its way towards her.
She had run 200 feet away from the predator, but this didn't stop it from biting her leg and bringing her to the ground.
Somehow, amid all the chaos, she managed to dial her mother and call her several times during the violent attack that was being carried out by one of the scariest creatures in the world.

Olga Moskalyova’s harrowing final words to mum
When mum Tatiana picked up, she could hear her teenage daughter screaming: "Mum, the bear is eating me! Mum, it's such agony. Mum, help!"
First writing it off as a joke, the mother caught on to the very real fear in Olga's voice, as well as 'the sounds of a bear growling and chewing', she said to the Daily Mail.
Tatiana added: "I could have died then and there from shock."
In her panic, she tried to get in touch with her husband, as she didn't know he was already dead.
The mum then reached out to authorities and family members in the nearby village of Termalniy in her desperate calls for them to reach the river and help.
In another phone call, the teenager was heard saying: "Mum, the bears are back. She came back and brought her three babies.
"They're... eating me."
Olga called one more time an hour or so later, saying her final words to Tatiana.
"Mum, it's not hurting any more. I don't feel the pain," she told her mother. "Forgive me for everything, I love you so much."

What has Olga Moskalyova’s mum said?
After hearing her daughter speak for the last time, Tatiana was distraught, with her brother-in-law Andrei arriving at the scene of the mauling with police half an hour later.
They saw the mother bear feasting on Igor's body, while Olga's remains were also seen on the ground.
Emergency services promptly called six hunters to find and kill the mother bear and her cubs after the violent incident.
Reflecting on her memories of Olga, the mother said: "My daughter was such fun. She was so cheerful, friendly, and warm.
"She had graduated from music school, and just days before the bear attack she got her driving licence."
Both Olga and Igor were buried on the same day in 2011.
