Donald Trump responds to Putin, Xi and Kim Jong-Un issuing chilling threat to West as they reunite

The US president sent a strongly-worded message to the trio on social media

Donald Trump has responded to the strong message sent out by Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-Un after their attendance at China's V-Day celebrations.

The latter trio were pictured together in a powerful image today (3 September) which could yet echo through time before the President of the People's Republic of China issued a stark warning to the West, speaking of a choice between 'peace or war'.

While doing so, 26 world leaders looked on after being invited to attend the country's celebrations, 80 years on from the end of World War II.

Just two of them were Western leaders, Slovakia’s Robert Fico and Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia.

So, Trump wasn't alone in those whose invitations were seemingly lost in the post, as UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer was also not in attendance.

But this didn't stop the US president from sharing his true feelings on Truth Social, writing: "The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of 'support and 'blood' that The United States of America gave to China in order to help it to secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader."

He claimed that 'many Americans' perished for China, adding: "I hope that they are rightfully Honored [sic] and Remembered for their Bravery and Sacrifice!"

The 79-year-old continued: "May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America."

His claims likely won't go down well with Putin in particular, with whom Trump is trying to broker a peace deal with, over Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

Trump's comments comes after Xi addressed the tens of thousands in the crows at Tiananmen Square, where he claimed China would 'firmly stand on the right side of history'.

"Today, mankind is faced with the choice of peace or war, dialogue or confrontation, win-win or zero-sum," he stated.

Xi also said that he aimed to unify the nation, again hinting towards a future invasion of Taiwan - which has prepared for such a case.

Soldiers chanted 'We serve the people' as Xi rode past while sticking out the sunroof of his car.

The parade showcased a number of China's military technological advancements, including 'the most powerful laser air defence system in the world'.

The 183-tonne Dongfeng-5C hypersonic nuke, which can carry up to 12 warheads, was one of the main talking points, as it's said that any point in the world could be reached at speeds of 16,700mph.

So within minutes, sections of the UK or US could be obliterated.

Rather ironically, 80,000 peace doves were released at the parade's conclusion, as Russia is yet to reach a peace deal with Ukraine, China is expected to attack Taiwan, and North Korea continues to hold a nuclear arsenal under its sleeve.
