Tommy Fury sends Jake Paul a warning ahead of ring return

Tommy Fury has issued a warning to Jake Paul ahead of his return to the ring.

The British boxer is set to go at it with Paul Bamba in Dubai this weekend, hoping to prove a point.

For those of you who aren't aware, Fury has had a bit of a to-do with the Paul brother in the past, with the pair due to fight each other last year.

However, Fury was forced to pull out of the bout incredibly late in the day, having injured himself during training.

But speaking ahead of his fight this weekend, Fury said he was fully focused on overcoming Bamba before he turned his interest back to the YouTuber.

Speaking to TMZ, the 23-year-old said: "I'm not bothered if [Jake's] at ringside, anyone's at ringside. KSI, Jake Paul, whoever's there, I'm not interested cause my full focus is on Paul Bamba and when I beat Paul Bamba and I come through him, then I'll revert my attention to them at ringside. But until then, it's Paul Bamba, he's got my full attention on Sunday night.

"But if they are there - better not get into the ring after the fight, 'cause I'll be nice and warmed up, put it that way."

Discussing the fight with Bamba, Fury said he wasn't concerned, and doesn't think it will be much of a test.

"Paul Bamba presents a challenge in he's southpaw. But apart from that, that's pretty much it," he said.

"I mean, he's knocked a few people out at super middleweight. He's not the biggest light heavyweight that's out there. At the end of the day I've been sparring southpaws this whole camp. I been sparring the best southpaw in the world in Tyson, so there's not a lot that I'm not prepared for."

And to be honest, Fury might have a bit of a wait if he does plan on getting in the ring with Paul at some point in the future.

Earlier this week, the 25-year-old finally came face to face with controversial social media persona Andrew Tate.

Like Fury, Paul has had a back and forth with the former kickboxer over recent months, with the pair calling each other all the names under the sun.

Speaking to his brother Logan on his Impaulsive podcast earlier this year, Paul hit out at the former Big Brother contestant's catchphrase 'what colour is your Bugatti?'

He said: "I just think it’s funny that the ‘Top G’ is a fanboy. He runs with this whole thing like 'what colour is your Bugatti?'"

Paul then aimed his next barb at Tate directly: "Andrew, it’s not cool to tell kids that they need a Bugatti to be cool."

While Tate said he was ready to give Paul a 'reality check', betting him $3 million that he would beat him in a fight.

But yesterday (10 November), the two finally met one another, posing bare-chested in a gym.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Paul wrote: "Negotiation."

So who knows, maybe we'll finally see them settle their score.
