Maccies has over 44,000 locations in the world but none quite like this.
Travel content creator Jordan Egbert went and explored the McDonald’s in Frattocchie, Italy, and revealed the eerie reason why many people are so eager to check it out.
Over on TikTok (Counting Countries), the influencer revealed ‘a skeleton’ sitting below a glass floor which runs along the counter when you make a fast-food order.
Jordan said: “At first glance, it looks like a normal McDonald's, right? But then, you come over here, and you see this glass in the floor. Okay, a little bit weird, but whatever. But then, you look down here, and you see what that is?”

It appears that the McDonald’s is sat on an ‘archaeological area’ with an ancient road from Roman times.

He explained: “When they were building this McDonald's, they uncovered an ancient Roman road, but that's not all.
“They also found bodies here and they decided to leave them and preserve them, not one, but two, how crazy is this?”
“You can be eating your burger right above and then just have a skeleton right here.
“This is my table right here, and this is the outdoor seating area in [the] children's playground. And then the ancient Roman road. Absolutely wild.”
McDonald’s hasn’t officially confirmed if the skeletons are real, or just replicas.

Viewers were left stunned by the finding, with one person commenting: “I'd be p**sed if my bones were McDonald’s decor.”
“Is it just me or should a historical sight not have a McDonald’s on top of it idk,” another added.
“So that’s where the McRib is,” a third penned.
“McDonald's is preserving this better than most governments or museums. Say what you want. It's in great condition,” a fourth said.
According to Wandering Italy: “The McDonald’s excavation unearthed the skeletons of three adult males buried in the 2nd-3rd century A.D. along the stretch of road.

“Each was in his own grave, with the three graves relatively close together towards the center of the surviving road section.
“Casts of the skeletons have been placed in the locations of the original graves along the road in the underground museum.
“This Roman road brought to you by McDonald’s at Frattocchie south of Rome.”
Another person who has actually been to the restaurant that has a 4.0 rating on Google, called it ‘the most unique McDonald’s I’ve been to yet!’
“The restaurant was filled with people, which created a fun atmosphere, and the service was quick and accurate,” they added. “Consider treating this as your starting point for the Appian way walk.”
If you think that this McDonald's is unique, wait 'till you take a look at the one with blue arches.
