It's always nice when you're on a long drive to have something to look out of the window at. Scenery, water, beaches... moose on the loose? Well, admittedly, it's not every day you see that. But it's exactly what this guy in Anchorage, Alaska, saw as he looked out of his window on a late midnight drive.
Just as this man was going picking his daughter up, he spotted a huge bull moose walking along a grass verge in the middle of a carriageway. The poor fella looked like he was just minding his own business.
But he got a whole lot of attention. I mean, the car on the opposite side of the road was reversing (at speed) to catch up with the animal - pretty dangerous if you ask us.
And that's not to mention the drivers' smashed up wing mirror. There's danger all around this clip.
The enthusiastic driver can be heard saying: "Look at this big fella here. Wow, come here, look at him, he's huge. Hey there bud, hey there bud. Hey there bud," we think he's heard you, mate.
Afterwards, he explained: "I was picking up my daughter when we came across the moose wandering in the street, so I decided to pull up next to the big fella and let the world basque in his awe."
But people haven't been too happy about the video. Some have even pointed out that the moose looked injured.
One said: "Kinda sad. Our increasing population is diminishing their habitat. I bet that road used to covered in grass and trees not so long ago.The tiny strip of remaining grass is almost symbolic of what's happening to the Moose's home."
Another added: "I hope he is OK, it looks like he has an injury on his rear leg."
And a third mirrored our thoughts exactly: "Taking a second look at the video I'm guessing based on the side view mirror this isn't the guy's first run in with a moose."
Another seemed pretty impressed with the driver's bravery saying: "You are crazy. This is dangerous."
Yeah, that's true but have you seen the state of that mirror? The bloke's fearless.
Anyway, that's enough driving critique for one day. We hope the moose is alright and the guy filming invests in his road safety.
