After a comedian asked for ‘someone to come home with her’, one man in the audience gladly took up the offer.

It’s been a year since Kell Fire went viral on social media after she was ‘begging’ with those watching her set in the US.

I mean, it’s a pretty iconic way to round off a gig by saying with a deadpan expression: “Does anyone just like want to go home with me tonight? I’m serious.”

But some the audience simply just didn’t get it, with most of them stunned into silence with a bit of a ‘woo’ from a woman in the room.

And people were probably even more baffled when one bloke was pretty quick to willingly go along with her bold request.

Why did the comedian ask for someone to come home with her?

From videos posted online, it seems like this was a stunt Kell would occasionally pull as part of her set, even getting asked by audience members themselves.

The comedian is also an OnlyFans creator and has said she ‘wanted to be the next Kristin Wiig’. And while it might be rough out there for starting stand-up, she realised she had something to set her apart.

“I kept getting told how hot I was,” the 34-year-old told the Daily Star. “It would get said at pretty much every show.”

Her uncle even tried ‘to stage an intervention’ to get her to pull the plug on doing adult entertainment, but she uses it to her advantage.

“Either I’m serving men and making a lot less money, or I can use my best asset – literally – and get to fund my own cool art,” Kell explained.

“My body is objectified whether I want it to be or not. And it’s up to me why I want to be part of that or not. And if you take control you can make so much money.” Iconic.

The man’s response

While his fellow audience members sat baffled, one plucky guy took his shot and asked Kell following her request: “Are you serious?”

And the comedian responded: “Yeah. Do you want to come home with me tonight? Come on!”

The audience gave an applause as he eagerly shouted: “Let’s go!” and Kell seemed pretty made up she’d found someone to take up her offer.

Linking arms with the mysterious man, she can be heard saying: "I'm going to go and make myself feel better."

His ‘update’ afterwards

As the video went viral following Kell posting it online, users were quick to ask for an update.

One asked in the comments: “Is he ok though? I’m scared,” while another joked: “And we never heard from him again.”

But a few weeks after the clip was posted, the man himself, Tony Fontana, responded assuring that all was ok.

“I appreciate the genuine concern. I am indeed alive and thriving,” he replied with a strong arm and sunglasses-face emoji.

Plus, it seems it wasn’t quite a shock moment as it may have appeared as Kell did write in her caption: “Thank god he was a professional, it could have turned out very differently!

"Keep your eyes peeled for more to come.”

Oh, and it’s not much of a surprise but he turned out to be an OnlyFans creator too.

Kell also confirmed it was a stunt by sharing a video of her with the 'audience member' to OnlyFans, writing: "VID SOLD! Ended my set asking the audience if someone would come home with me. They came to my car and then on my face."

But confused by the entire thing altogether, other users commented to say: “Why doesn’t this happen when I got to comedy shows?”

Well mate, that would be because it wasn’t real, it was a stunt.
