Expert reveals the five surprising careers that mean your partner is more likely to cheat

If your partner works in finance, we have some bad news for you

There's many reasons why people are unfaithful in relationships, but have you ever considered that your partner's career may mean they're likely to cheat?

Relationship expert, Tracey Cox, has revealed the five careers that mean your partner is more likely to cheat - and if your other half works in banking, we have some bad news.

Pilots and flight crew

Pilots and flight attendants find themselves at the top of the unfaithful list due to their tough work schedules, according to Tracey.

Their jobs take them all across the world, meaning they are far away from home and their loved ones on a regular basis.

This provides an increased opportunity to be unfaithful, according to Tracey, as there is a low chance of being caught cheating or being found out later.

Nurses and doctors

Medical professionals are under huge pressure everyday, with their jobs entailing plenty of stress.

Irregular schedules, combined with high stress, long hours and a lack of sleep may lead people to make spontaneous decisions and embark on an affair.

Tracey also states that the higher 'up the medical ladder' one goes, the more the 'God complex factor creeps in'.

This increases your self-esteem, and research proves that the higher your self-esteem is, the less likely you are to think rules apply to you.

Entrepreneurs

Both male and female entrepreneurs have made it onto the infidelity list, as they tend to live lives different to the average worker.

Tracey states that entrepreneurs 'like things done their ways' and are more likely to 'take charge of their sex life' in the same way that they do their own business.

Bankers

According to Tracey's research, bankers, traders and investment professionals are all likely to engage in unethical behaviours, including cheating.

With how competitive the finance industry is, employees are likely to cut corners in a bid to meet targets and make profits.

This tendency to cheat at work may then reflect in your personal life, making you more likely to be unfaithful to your partner.

Teachers

Surprisingly, teachers have made the 'most likely to cheat' list.

It's not unusual for a teacher to experience burnout or become fed up with their career, and these feelings can easily impact their personal lives and relationships.

They also experience a lot of frustration, which they may feel their partners do not understand unless they are also a teacher.
