Private investigator says there's an unlikely phone app that can expose your partner cheating

But you'd need to be pretty paranoid for this

No one likes a cheat. Not in Monopoly, not in football and certainly not in a relationship.

But no matter how much you tell yourself it could ‘never be you’, those little snakes are always out there, laying low in the very same bed sheets as you, pretending everything’s fine.

Yeah, that’s the hard truth lads. And look, I’m sure you’re in a very happy and stable relationship, but it’s just not always the case.

We’re warned of plenty of ways to spot cheaters too from the signs they’re ‘silent cheating’ to the easily missed red flags they’re being unfaithful.

However, maybe you’ve been missing one specific sneaky trick as a private investigator says there’s an unlikely app sitting on most people’s phones that can expose someone for cheating.

Yep, Aaron Bond of detective agency Bond Rees reckons there’s a better place to be checking out rather than your partner’s messages.

And I can’t really believe I’m writing this, but it’s their supermarket loyalty scheme apps.

“While most people think of text messaging and call logs as the obvious signs of cheating, there are often other signs that can uncover and paint a larger picture,” Bond told The Mirror.

He suggests checking the receipts on something like the Tesco Clubcard app can be rather revealing. That’s because while your partner might be covering their backs on the likes of WhatsApp or social media, they might not even realise their shopping apps are keeping note of their spending.

So, Bond says the over-looked spots could contain enough data to catch someone out.

He explained that while the data is 'limited', it does 'tell you a date and location, which is easily accessible if you log into your account'.

This means that if your other half has been cagey about where they’ve been or what they’ve been up to, you could clarify their location and purchases from the apps.

Plus, if you see them buying things that would typically gifts or items for a date night (you know, a bottle of fancy wine, some chocolates or even a dine in meal for two kid) that you never saw show up, that could get them red handed.

Bond pointed out that ‘technology doesn’t lie’.

But, let’s be honest, if you’re that paranoid that you’re having to check your partner’s supermarket app then maybe your relationship isn’t in such a great, secure place.
