Thylane Blondeau was labelled as the ‘most beautiful girl in the world’ when she was just six years old.
And now she’s 24 and celebrating her engagement to French DJ Ben Attal.
The child model’s face was plastered all over when she was young, having been scouted at just three. Within years she was walking the runway for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana, and L'Oréal alongside adults before featuring in Vogue and being given the controversial title in 2008.
But since then, Blondeau went on to hit back over being known as this at such a young age, insisting she was simply just a child.

She carried on in the modelling industry, working for huge couture brands as well as being a fashion and beauty entrepreneur herself.

Blondeau is the daughter of retired footballer Patrick Blondeau and TV presenter Véronika Loubry and it was her mum who said she couldn’t agree to a job with Gaultier as a toddler without an agent.
“’Jean Paul Gaultier said, ‘She has to be there tomorrow,’” she previously recalled. “So Mum was like, 'Why not?'”
Back in 2018, Blondeau told The Telegraph that when you’re ‘small’ you don’t ‘really pay attention’.
"People are like, ‘you know, you’re the most beautiful girl in the world,’ and you’re like, ‘I’m not, I’m just playing with my iPad',” she added.
And at 18 years old, she was still getting that comment as she said: “Even today, people are like, ‘you are the most beautiful girl,’ and I’m like, ‘no, I’m still not, I’m just a human being, a teenager.’"
By 2018 though, she felt that the key to the modelling industry then was ‘personality first’ with it apparently being about ‘beauty inside and outside’.
Blondeau added as a teen that she’d carry on with model if she wanted to be.

“I just want to be happy and do what I like,” she explained.
While she later moved back to France, Blondeau lived in West London for a while, next to her ‘good friend’ Brooklyn Beckham.
The model announced her engagement on her Instagram on Sunday (8 March).
Attal proposed to her while they enjoy a holiday at the pricey, luxurious Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel in Greece.
“I said yes to my best friend,” she wrote. “Here’s to forever.”
While still modelling, Blondeau’s current venture is as ‘founder and creative director’ of ENALYHT, a hair care brand with shampoo starting at 24,99€ (21.60).
