The 'potentially hostile' alien object hurtling through space could prove a massive theory touted by Baba Vanga and the 'Living Nostradamus' to be correct.
Space enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists found their paths converging once again this week when a group of researchers at Harvard University revealed that they believe that a recently discovered comet named 31/ATLAS could actually be an alien probe sent to observe Earth by a more advanced civilisation – with sinister consequences.
"The hypothesis in question is that [31/ATLAS] is a technological artefact, and furthermore has active intelligence. If this is the case, then two possibilities follow," Avi Loeb, Adam Drowl, and Adam Hibberd wrote in the paper.
"If this is the case, then two possibilities follow: first that its intentions are entirely benign and second they are malign."

Now the likelihood of the object actually proving the existence of little green men is unlikely, with the chances of a War of the Worlds style alien invasion being launched before the end of the year being slim to none.
But let us speculate for a moment that such an outcome were to become a reality – what would happen?
Well, there would likely be mass panic, Covid style fights over resources and plenty of validation for the worlds clairvoyants, both living and dead.
So let's unpack what mystics such as Baba Vanga and Athos Salomé, aka the 'Living Nostradamus' actually said about a possible alien invasion in 2025.
Did Baba Vanga predict an alien invasion in 2025?

Born Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova in the early twentieth century, Baba Vanga was a blind Bulgarian mystic who posthumously rose to prominence after a number of predictions were attached to her name.
From the Indian Ocean tsunami to the death of Princess Diana, Vanga's name has been attached to a number of claims online.
And alien invasions are just one of many.
According to numerous outlets, Vanga is said to believe humanity will make a breakthrough in the search for alien life this year, although it is unclear exactly when and where she said this.
What has 'Living Nostradamus' Athos Salomé said about a 2025 alien invasion?

For those who are unconvinced by the late seer's beliefs don't worry, as it seems like she's in good company with the prediction.
"Thanks to James Webb telescope, humanity might finally get the answer to the existence of alien life, while governments like the US may declassify UFO files," he told MailOnline last year.
"If true, these discoveries could revolutionise one’s view about the universe in which we exist – and about ourselves."
Either way, late October - which is when the comet is expected to pass Earth - will prove to be beneficial for one of two reasons: either humanity's biggest mystery has finally been solved or we can firmly discount two mystics from the conspiracy theory canon.
