When Jeremy Clarkson opened the Diddly Squat Farm shop people from far and wide came flocking.

This resulted in huge queues forming around the 1,000 acres of land owned by the broadcaster - much to the irritation of the locals in Chipping Norton, Cotswolds.

The 61-year-old's farm attracted even more attention following his Amazon Prime Video show Clarkson's Farm.

In a bid to quash any worries or frustrations that local residents may have, Clarkson will now be holding a Q&A session tonight (9 September) with the promise of refreshments.

The poster reads: "As there seems to be some debate in the village about what's going on at Diddly Squat, Jeremy Clarkson will be at the Memorial Hall to explain his plans and to take any questions you may have.

"Everybody from the area is welcome to attend. Cheese and wine will be provided."

The meeting will be held at 7pm at the Chadlington Memorial Hall.

Back in June, when word got out that Clarkson would be at the farm, people jumped in their motors and headed over, much to the dismay of local residents.

Taking their rant to a community Facebook page, one wrote: "Avoid going anywhere near Diddly Squat Farm Shop, whole road is blocked again, but worse there are people stopping on the 60mph bend with nowhere to go."

Another added: "I've just seen pictures that someone else has posted. Utterly ridiculous. Clarkson needs to do something and quickly. It's going to cause an accident! Queues all up Burford Road."

The queues caused such an issue that emergency services were called but Thames Valley Police later said no crime had been committed.

A spokesperson shared a statement with LADbible, which read: "Officers received reports [on Saturday] in relation to congestion on the roads in Chadlington.

"Officers attended the scene, but no crime had been committed.

"Our neighbourhood team for the area is aware of the situation."

It seems Clarkson himself is grateful for all the custom despite the fact that his bees were struggling to keep up with the demand for honey.

Writing on Twitter, he said: "I'm genuinely amazed at the response to Clarkson's Farm. Thank you all so much for your kind words.

"A big thank you too to everyone who's been to our little farm shop. The bees can hardly keep up with demand for their honey."
