Ariana Grande has launched a foundation aimed at supporting marginalised and vulnerable communities.
Unveiling the philanthropic endeavour on Instagram yesterday (12 June), the Wicked actor revealed that she had created The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation to support youth mental health, LGBTQ+ rights and migrant families.
"I am beyond excited to finally announce the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation," she said in a press release.
"Our mission is to support, protect, and provide resources for our vulnerable friends in need.

"Through four different funds, we will be supporting handfuls of incredible organisations that provide the safe space and care that is desperately needed by so many right now."

The four different funds covered by the organisation are: the Protect & Defend Fund, the Heal & Dream Fund, the Seen & Celebrated Fund, and the Emergency Support Fund.
Here is what each of the funds supports:
- Protect & Defend Fund - empowers grassroots groups that advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights and reproductive justice. Includes grantees such as The Trans Youth Emergency Project and Defending Our Neighbours Fund.
- Heal & Dream Fund - supports access to mental health and community support care. Includes grantees such as Backline and Trans Lifeline.
- Seen & Celebrated Fund - amplifies LGBTQ+ voices. Includes grantees such as Gender Liberation Movement and TransLash Media.
- Emergency Support Fund - A 'responsive support' fund which helps communities respond to urgent movements with aid and resources.
"It has been my privilege to be able to support these causes on my own over the years, "she added.
"And I'm grateful to now be able to expand that reach and amplify the life-saving work that these organisations do through the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation."
Donations can be made via the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation website.
The unveiling of the organisation comes just a day after Grande shut down the White House for using her track 'Bye' in a TikTok video showing immigrants being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Responding to the video, which was captioned 'President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history', Grande commented: "Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. f**k ICE."
A spokesperson for the singer confirmed to Variety that Grande had made the comment herself, adding that her team were looking to get the audio removed.
The track on the video was later muted, with the clip later being taken down altogether.

A spokesperson for the White House later responded to Grande's comments, telling the outlet: "We’ll say this one last time: what’s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens."
