The Cuban singer, who shot to fame with the girl group on X Factor USA, has revealed how a lot of big stuff happened in her life when she turned 20, both career wise and in her personal life.
Losing your virginity is a pretty pivotal moment for anyone, but the star reckons her first time really helped broaden her mind at a time when she was getting used to the entertainment industry.

She reflected on her first sexual experience during a recent appearance on The Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, while also revealing the identity of the famous fella who she was dating at the time.
Cabello, 27, explained that around seven years ago, she ended up getting together with relationship coach, YouTuber and writer Matthew Hussey.
Seen as though he is a 'leading dating expert who has helped millions of women get the love life of their dreams', it seems the Senorita singer scored quite well with her first boyfriend.
She revealed she had lost her virginity to the Brit and described it as a 'beautiful' experience on the podcast.

Cabello said: "I had my first relationship at that time.
"I had actually listened to [Matthew’s] podcast before…because he had, like, a dating podcast. And he is married now, so congratulations! It was late for my first relationship. I was 20.
"That was my first time having sex. First lovemaking was at 20, 21. … It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful."
The musician only dated Hussey for a little over a year between 2018 and 2019, but it is clear that he left a lasting impression on her.
Cabello continued: "He was a really great person. It was like the perfect first relationship. It really expanded my world because he wasn’t in my industry too.

"It was like, ‘Oh my God, have you ever seen Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and have you ever seen Studio Ghibli films?"
It seems the feeling of adoration between the pair is pretty mutual, with Hussey describing his former partner as an 'incredible human being' during a 2018 interview.
He got hitched to Audrey Le Strat in a ceremony in Sicily in November last year.
Fans of Cabello have praised her for being candid about her first sexual experience, as well as for how highly she spoke of her ex - because being on terms that good is a rarity for most people.

But others said they didn't really understand why she'd shared such intimate details with the world.
