Jennifer Lawrence has joined Instagram and said she's 'giving it a shot', and then immediately threatened to quit if she faced any negativity.
The actor has made it this far in her career without being on Instagram but she appears to have hopped onto the social media platform with an account that has already amassed over 3.5 million followers under the username @jlaw.
Apparently 'jenniferlawrence' was already taken.
Her first post was her declaration that she was going to be trying Instagram out, followed by a warning that she's here for a good time and will pack her bags and go if that's not how it pans out.

She said: "If anyone says anything negative I will quit immediately, no questions asked. If anyone thinks something mean I'll know. I'll know, and I'll quit."

In her first foray into stories she added: "Please me mindful that any mean or aggressive comments can negatively affect the baby. It's me. I'm the baby."
Fortunately for her she's had a lot of welcoming comments, and the official Batman account has promised to protect her comments section, so if you mess with Jennifer Lawrence on the internet you'll now have Batman coming after you.
Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp said Lawrence joining Instagram was 'the best day of my life', while Lego threatened anyone who risked ruining this by saying they were 'not responsible for what you may step on'.
Obviously social media can be a pretty nasty place, but there seemed to be a lot of welcoming messages for the actor as she joined the platform.
Anyone who thinks they're going to be sliding into her DMs will have to remember she's got a husband, Cooke Maroney, and apparently you're not going to be able to compete with the sight of him playing hockey with their two children.
She said in an appearance on the SmartLess podcast that he's 'the opposite of me' since he's very organised and keeps good time, and she finds it 'so hot' to see him being a good day.
"I mean, my husband played hockey growing up and it's so hot when they play hockey together like in the house. Like it truly turns me on," she said.
Lawrence went on to say he was 'the best person I've ever met in my whole life' and it was a very easy decision to say 'yes' when he proposed to her.
Their relationship had started in 2018 when they were introduced by a mutual friend, and they got engaged in February 2019, tying the knot later on that year.
The couple's two sons were born in 2022 and 2025.
