Millie Bobby Brown has spoken out about her relationship with the cast of Stranger Things following the show’s controversial conclusion, also revealing her thoughts on the reaction to the finale.
Stranger Things ended earlier this year (though not if you’re one of the believers in Conformity Gate) and Bobby Brown’s career is already moving on, starring in the upcoming Enola Holmes 3 for Netflix.
Charlie Heaton has gone on to star in Industry and the new Peaky Blinders show, Sadie Sink is in the new Spider-Man film in a shadowy unnamed role, and Finn Wolfhard directed his first movie.
Despite the success pretty much the whole cast has had after the show ended, Bobby Brown has spoken about how hard it was to leave behind the series which introduced them all to the world.

Speaking to Josh Horowitz at a Happy Sad Confused live event, reported by Variety who were in attendance, she said that she had a slump after the show came out.
She said: “I went into a little bit of a slight, slight depression. It was very hard for me. I would not have expected that coming off of the show. I’m a very happy-go-lucky person.”
She went on to point to the fact she started the show when she was just ten years old, adding: “This character was me, and these people were in my life more than my own family. I saw these people more than going home and eating dinner with my family.
“Saying goodbye to that after 10 years was a very, very emotional thing, and I’m going to miss Eleven more than anything.”

This fact however saw her spend January reaching out to ‘make amends’ to her now ex-castmates.
She said she was hoping to ‘mend’ any tensions and ‘reaffirm that their personal relationships’ were still there amid the end of the show.
She explained: “They probably thought I was crazy, I was like, ‘We’re still friends, right? Like, you’re not gonna stop talking to me anymore?’
“I was like, ‘I’m sorry if I ever upset you,’ and was just trying to mend anything. ‘It’s been 10 years, and I really want to be friends. You’re my sibling.’ And then I was on the beach, it was beautiful, and I just sat there crying. It was a very hard time for me.”

She did not address the reported issues with her on-screen father figure David Harbour, whom she supposedly reported for bullying during production, but has previously denied these and said they plan to work together again soon.
One of the hot topics was the end of Stranger Things which (six month old spoiler warning for the ending to the show) saw Eleven seemingly ‘die’, with Mike hinting at the end that he believes she survived – leading the gang to say ‘they believe’ she is alive also.
She said when pressed to answer whether ‘she believes’ that ‘all people say now is, ‘Do you believe?’ And of course I believe’.
She continued, stating that she has to believe ‘otherwise January (her depressive slump) will come around again.’
