The new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has dropped, giving a much clearer idea of where the fourth Tom Holland led web-head film will be taking the story.
The trailer comes just a few days after Holland revealed that him and his Brand-New Day co-star Zendaya had gotten married, putting an end to months of speculation.
While the two are as close as ever in real life however, their characters are as far apart as they have ever been in Spider-Man: Brand-New Day, with MJ and just about everyone else in the world having forgot Peter Parker’s identity, leaving him completely alone after the events of No Way Home.
The upcoming film looks full of Marvel cameos already, with Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Bruce Banner’s The Hulk both making appearances in the trailer along with Daredevil villain The Hand.

One major question is on the lips of fans after the trailer though: who on earth is Sadie Sink playing?
Sadie Sink is confirmed to be in the film, and we got a quick glance in the first trailer, but reports have been mixed on who she is playing
The star booked her first major post Stranger Things role for Brand-New Day, but she has been rumoured to be playing a few different characters.
The longest standing rumours suggested that the film would be the first to introduce mutants properly to the MCU and that she would be playing Jean Grey, with industry scooper Jeff Sneider having made the claim that she will be playing the iconic X-Men character.
Not everyone is convinced by this though, with others suggesting she may be playing the character ‘Screwball’, and an interview with Sink even leading to theories she may be playing Gwen Stacey after she said that she was excited for people to learn who she was playing and that ‘a lot of people forget that hair colour can change’.
The new trailer appears to be pointing to one of these options in particular however.
Jean Grey is looking even more likely because of a creepy moment in the trailer

In the trailer whilst many were excited about the Hulk, Punisher, and The Hand, many of the biggest nerds noticed that the as of yet unrevealed villain spoke to Spider-Man through a man on the street, telling them they're going to go 'see how MJ's doing'.
An anonymous hooded figure in the trailer looks likely to be Sadie Sink’s character, with Tramell Tillman’s character saying: “It appears we’re faced with a threat we can’t control, one we can’t even see,” telling Peter he’s the only one it ‘doesn’t effect’ and the only who can ‘sense it’.
Even if the rumours hadn’t already indicated Sink was playing Jean Grey, the hint of a character who can ‘control people’ and alter minds would have all pointed one direction: the iconic X-Men character. At the moment though, it's all informed guesswork as to who Sadie Sink is playing.
The trailer also hints that Spider-Man is facing more threats, with hints that he is developing organic web-shooters leading to theories that he is turning into Man-Spider (look it up) so the Spider-Man sequel is set to be a treat for comic-book fans.
Spider-Man: Brand-New Day is in cinemas 31 July in the UK.
