You Can Now Play As Jesus Christ In A Video Game All About The New Testament

You Can Now Play As Jesus Christ In A Video Game All About The New Testament

From healing sick women to battling Satan, surely someone would love this

So what's your pick of the year when it comes to video games? Apex Legends? Call of Duty: Modern Warefare? Something else? Whatever you've chosen, surely it can't be as unexpected or look as riveting as I Am Jesus Christ.

Yes, you read that title right. It's a video game that allows you to play as JC himself, the Son of God, and it's based on the New Testament of the Bible.

In the game you will stumble across scenes representing various passages from the religious tome, which include healing a woman, filling a man's bucket with fish and even rolling a boulder away from your resting place.

It's all in the Bible, if you wanted to check the game for accuracy.

A synopsis from Steam reads: "Become Jesus Christ, the famous man on Earth - in this highly realistic simulation game. Pray like Him for getting superpowers, perform famous miracles like Him from the Bible, like casting demons, healing and feeding people, resurrection and more, in I Am Jesus Christ."

Well, why wouldn't you want to play as Jesus, I guess?

The game covers pretty much everything he did from his Baptism until his death and Resurrection.

Judging from the trailer, it definitely doesn't look like a Grand Theft Auto styled open world game where you can just do what you want, which is a damn shame because that would be epic.

The synopsis continues: "Have you ever wondered to be like Him - one of the most privileged and powerful people in the world?

"Check if you can perform all famous miracles from the Bible like Jesus Christ. It is a simulation game and you can try to save the world as He did. Are you ready to fight with Satan in the desert, exorcising demons and curing sick people? Or calm the storm in the sea?"

A fight with Satan, you say? Now that sounds promising.
