Top adult star Riley Reid shared most amount of money she made in one day filming adult content

Reid is also estimated to be making big bucks on OnlyFans

Adult film star Riley Reid once got candid about the amount of money she'd earned for a single shoot.

Reid, whose real name is Ashley Mathews, entered the adult entertainment industry when she was 19 years old, and has since risen to top as one of the most well-known porn stars on the internet.

Some of her accolades include being inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2021, while also recently being included in the Adult Video News Hall of Fame earlier this year.

The 33-year-old has been open about her experiences in the porn industry, from the one thing she dislikes about it, to the 'disgusting' moment that made her seriously rethink her career choices.

And when it comes to how much she's earned, she's been very frank about how much she can pull from a single shoot.

Appearing on Logan Paul's podcast Impaulsive back in 2018, the star was asked whether there's good money in the adult industry, to which she replied: "The most I’ve gotten from one day... I think $12,000 (£8,915) for one day on a shoot."

But, she clarified that the majority of her earnings don't come from shoots alone, and instead come from multiple sources of income.

She said: "Like, that’s just from one shoot but I monetise myself in a lot of different ways."

One of the other avenues Reid makes money is through OnlyFans, with her estimated amount on the platform being $25,000 (£19,900) as of last year.

As well as this, she also owns a production company, Forbidden Fruits Films, where she earns $800,000 (£637,000) per year in royalties from other websites.

However, despite how much money she earns, Reid, along with other adult stars, have been honest about how being in the industry affects their personal relationships.

In 2021, the married mother-of-one revealed that she'd stopped filming content with men, instead filming exclusively with women as it had affected her dating life.

And in a since-deleted YouTube video from 2020, she'd urged people to not get into the adult industry.

"A lot of times when people ask me if they should do porn, I tell them no," she said.

"I tell them that it makes life really hard, it makes dating really hard, it makes your family life really hard, it makes intimacy hard.

"If you're putting yourself out there and the world is now judging you, you have to be okay with being shamed every day of your life."
