People Stunned After Finding Out Who Twins In Sex Education Are

You may have noticed a set of twins popping up from time to time in the show, and it turns out they're related to one of its main cast.

You know how everyone thought Connor Swindells and Alistair Petrie, the two actors who play Adam Groff and his dad Mr Groff in Sex Education, were related in real life because the two simply looked so alike?

Well, while that one's just a happy coincidence - if anything, it's just an example of great casting - it turns out there are two other stars that look even more like they're related to Petrie... and that's because they actually are his sons.

You may have noticed a set of twins popping up from time-to-time, including in Moordale's science lab or smirking in the background during that infamous toilet sequence on the school trip to France.

However, if you weren't feeling too distracted by all the Rahim accidentally launching a sock filled with, ahem, faeces into the windscreen of another car, the more eagle-eyed among you may have recognised that the twins bear an uncanny resemblance to our dethroned headmaster, Mr Groff.

The two stars in question are in fact Cal and Brodie Petrie, the 18-year-old sons of Alistair Petrie - who also has an older son called Connor Swindells... Just kidding, he's actually called Angus, and he was born in 2000.

One fan called Lorna noticed the connection, and posted a video on TikTok to share the revelation.

They said: "THE HOT TWINS IN SEX ED ARE MR GROFF'S KIDS IRL."

Her video has since racked up 3.2 million views and more than 387,000 likes.

One person commented: "WAIT I THINK I KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT."

Another said: "I IMMEDIATELY KNEW WHAT TWINS YOU MEANT."

Someone else claimed they'd also clocked them in the scene when Hope, Moordale's new headteacher, was announcing the new uniforms.

Others, meanwhile, seemed to still be hung up on Swindells' resemblance to his on-screen dad, with one saying: "I refuse to believe Adam and Mr Groff aren't related IRL they're identical."

Someone else messaged to tell Lorna Alistair Petrie appeared to address her video on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself with his sons and using the hashtag #tiktoktwins.

In a later post, Lorna tagged the two brothers, saying: "Please tell me your father hasn't seen the TikToks."

Brodie then replied in the comments: "He has but he loves it!"
