During last night’s heated round table on Celebrity Traitors, viewers fear Alan Carr made a major slip-up.
Going from getting slated to somehow breezing through undetected for three weeks, the unlikely Traitor has had quite the arc. But now, viewers of the hit BBC show worry it may be about to come crashing down.
As the episode of Celebrity Traitors began with the cliffhanger of a ‘game of chance’ completed, it then ended with a whole load of confrontations and debate as they once again turned on each other.

Faithful Joe Marler took aim at Traitor Jonathan Ross and also pointed out a grave error made by the Chatty Man. And while we’ll have to wait until next week to see how that plays out for him, any fan of the show can be confident in saying it may contribute to his downfall.

During yesterday’s (23 October) mission, Carr was one of the lucky stars to gain a shield, protecting him from murder.
However, at the roundtable, he justified his lack of contribution in bringing forward names of potential Traitors by saying they 'murder people who stick their head above the parapet'.
But Marler then reminded him in front of the group that 'they won't murder you tonight' because he had a shield, with the comedian then trying to joke it off by remembering he would be safe.

But this quickly sparked suspicions from the likes of Lucy Beaumont, as it was noted that a Traitor would be more likely to forget they have a shield as they’re obviously protected from murder anyway.
And now, fans fear Beaumont or others could expose Carr and have him banished at the next round table.
“Oop Alan might have finally put his foot in it too much,” one said.

And a second echoed: “Traitors are formidable but there's always a mistake eventually. Alan was coasting but a huge f**k up at tonight's round table. Now got to be favourite for banishment.”

“Ohhh Alan you’ve made a huge mistake,” a third added,
As a fourth predicted: “Alan or Jonathan are goners tomorrow at the round table. Joe is like a dog with a bone and won’t let it go and with Alan now in his sights over forgetting he had a shield.”
However, others were just lapping it up as a comedic moment, noting how it may play into his gameplay so far as he’s remained on the Faithful’s side.
“I actually think Alan forgetting he has a shield could work in his favour if he plays it off like he has been doing and saying he’s too busy thinking who the traitors could be and well just being Alan,” one suggested.
A second added: “Alan forgetting he had a shield at the round table, I’m obsessed with how he can get away with anything.”
