An expert has spoken about the easiest ways to be able to spot a Traitor, and have even revealed that Alan Carr is already exhibiting several of the red flags which may make it obvious.
The Celebrity spin-off of The Traitors has been a huge success for the BBC so far, debuting with huge viewing figures that indicate the finale could be the biggest episode of the show ever.
The first two episodes have made one thing abundantly clear however: Alan Carr may be both the best and worst traitor to ever appear on the show.
Carr was picked alongside Jonathon Ross and Cat Burns by Claudia Winkleman, who has spoken about why she selected the trio as the first ever Celeb Traitors.

While he has been undeniably entertaining so far, many fans have felt that Carr rivals Linda from season three for all time terrible Traitors, something that he himself jokes about in the TV show.
Between his constant sweating, openly whispering about being a Traitor whilst others were in the room, and general flustered demeanour, it would be a shock to see the comedian last more than a few episodes.

One expert has spoken to The Standard however, revealing the surefire signs to spot a Traitor by revealing which of them Carr has been exhibiting.
Martin Brooks, a body language expert, has said that Faithfuls on the show should be looking out for ‘truth slips’ to figure out who is lying to them.

This includes ‘facial touching’ and ‘self-comfort gestures’.
These were obvious when Carr was forced to kill Paloma Faith in plain sight by touching her face, with Brooks saying he was exhibiting obvious signs of ‘truth slips’ as he was touching his head, face, and generally showing nervous behaviour.
Brooks also said that Jonathan Ross had been showing other signs he was lying so far due to his ‘prolonged blinking’, refusing to make eye contact with people for extended periods.

The expert added: “When everybody else was looking around once the Traitors had been allocated, looking around to who might it be, he temporarily looked down and in looking down, your eyelids cover your eyes.”

Thankfully for Alan, no one on the show seems to have suspected him just yet despite being incredibly obvious.
Speaking about why the trio of Traitors picked were chosen, Claudia Winkleman revealed that Alan Carr was a must-pick once he revealed he wanted to be a Traitor.
She said: “I do those chats with them and they're much longer than you see.
"Then I go into a room with the bosses from the BBC, the brilliant casting group, and we sort of work [it] out together.
“We don't have long, but Alan said he wanted to be a Traitor, and they were compelling. So how could you not?"
