I'm A Celeb viewers point out major part of show was missing this year as Angry Ginge crowned winner

It wasn't the only big difference from previous years

After three weeks in the jungle, I'm A Celeb fans saw Angry Ginge crowned the winner on last night's episode of the popular ITV show.

The 24-year-old streamer, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, won over the hearts of the public during the series and earned himself the title of king of the jungle on Sunday, with last year's winner Danny Jones handing over the sceptre and the crown.

He beat other finalists Shona McGarty and Tom Read Wilson to the title, and provided a brief but emotional speech after winning the show that he grew up watching.

The Salford-born star said: "I don’t think I can swear, but I feel amazing. Honestly, a dream come true. I didn’t think I could go all this way never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted."

While most seemed delighted that Ginge had claimed victory in the final episode of 2025, others noticed that there was one major part of the show that was missing.

We got most of the usual antics, including the Bushtucker Trials, disgusting food challenges and of course the celebrity cyclone, but fans were left a little disappointed after realising there were no secret missions, or Dingo Dollar challenges, in this year's version.

Over on Reddit, one fan complained: “There were no secret missions this year!

“I love it when a couple of the campmates go undercover and start doing random missions without the rest of the group knowing. It is so funny.”

Another user commented: “It’s surprising that they didn’t do this with Aitch and Ginge in the jungle. They would have been perfect for secret missions."

A third wrote: “I would also love it if they just make up a task and pretended the producers had told them to do it. Like a fake secret task."

There was plenty of entertainment over the last few weeks of the show, with Ruby Wax memorably snogging Declan Donnelly live on air, while the kids watching will no doubt have enjoyed it when the presenters snuck in the viral 6-7 meme into the show. If you don't know what that means, that's probably a good thing, but here's an explanation anyway.

But the lack of secret missions did leave some a little let down, particularly considering the iconic moments we've seen from it in previous seasons, such as when Amir Khan and Iain Lee ate all the strawberries they won without telling the other camp members.

However, it actually wasn't the only thing missing from this year's show, as fans will also have noticed that Kiosk Keith didn't make an appearance, while the bugs that scuttled across the screen were also cut out.

LADbible has contacted ITV for comment.
