Virgin Island’s Zac has revealed why he was banned from contacting sex therapist Kat following the conclusion of the show.
Zac was one of the 12 adult virgins to appear on the show, which was intended to help them lose their virginity.
This was achieved through radical sex therapy, including sexological bodyworkers and surrogate partners, both of whom were physically intimate with the virgins.

In an exclusive interview with LADbible, Zac revealed that he was told a strict rule once filming finished, that he was not supposed to contact any of the surrogates or other therapists, including Kat.
Whilst many will assume this was to do with the controversial incident in which Kat ended a session with Zac early, it was nothing to do with this and was actually a rule for all the virgins on the show.

When asked if he had spoken to Kat since the incident, he said: “No. So it was made very clear that, with the surrogates and the other therapists, you are here for these two weeks.
“Afterwards, you know, professionally, you're not really meant to contact them.”

Dave, the virgin who lost his virginity to Kat on the show, also spoke about this recently, explaining why he has had no contact with her since the conclusion of filming.
Speaking to MailOnline, Dave said: “It’s not easy to just detach from feelings, but I think it’s an important lesson of it to like have those feelings and then let go of them, which probably is one of the most important lessons.

“I wasn’t, obviously, wasn’t in love with her anything. But I respected her greatly. I don’t think I was too worried about falling in love.”
The show has been confirmed for a season two in a statement by Channel 4, with the producers behind the show now on the lookout for more adult virgins.

Season two of the series will be ‘bigger and bolder’, with the season expanding from six episodes to eight.
In his exclusive interview with LADbible, Zac even expressed interest in returning for season two of the show, stating that he would ‘love it’ if he was asked to return.
He said: “I wish they would take me back! That would be brilliant.

“I really wanted more time there. I think there's so much more I could have done. But, you know, we only have the two weeks.

“It's a very limited amount of time to sort of work through all your troubles.
“I definitely would. I mean, if I saw even half the improvement I did last time, then I would absolutely do it again.”
