A TikToker who said he'd escaped a 'cannibal tribe' has shared what happened when he returned to see them again.
I know, going back to a tribe that could have you for dinner sounds a bit ill-advised, but this social media influencer is seemingly determined to establish a connection with the group.
Dara Tah is known for putting himself in risky situations for the purpose of content, and his venture into the forests of Papua, Indonesia, which he has documented on TikTok, is no different.
Aiming to communicate with a remote tribe previously, it didn't end well as a member of the group tried packet salt and spat it out in disgust.

The Irishman then 'ran for his life' as the leader of the tourist group said: "We have to move. We're not welcome. It's really dangerous."

While he has worked with sulphur miners in an Indonesian volcano and even spent 50 hours in an underground nuclear missile complex previously, revisiting the supposed 'cannibals' might be up there with some of his riskiest stunts.
Some viewers think there might be more to the situation; however, one person on Reddit claims they've been on a similar tour before. Meanwhile, others said he should 'leave them alone'.
However, after fleeing the first time, Tah decided to return with tobacco as a gift offering to the people on the northern coast of Western New Guinea.

He captioned the video: "2nd attempt contacting a cannibal tribe… Thanks to our local guide, Demi of the Yali tribe, who is bringing us to meet the Bauzi tribe.
"Demi will help us to capture and document the largely unknown traditions of the Bauzi tribe."
Tah pointed out that the members 'have bow and arrows' when he approached them, noting that one wasn't 'looking friendly', as the local guide pointed out that he was calling his friends.
Demi even said he couldn't 'guarantee' what would happen when they docked at their settlement, as Tah said he came in peace while holding up the tobacco.

"I'm sweating my a** off right now," the TikToker said, after giving some tobacco to a tribe member.
He signalled that he was content, even inviting him onto the land, as Demi explained to Tah: "(They're) not really happy but they accept us, so we go with them."

Tah then went onto the island and was welcomed with what looked to be a hat and a long stick, both of which were decorated.
He even thanked the members, filming them from close-up, and quipping, 'nice knives' on their spears.

And people took to the comments, as one pointed out: "At no point was he in danger, the guide, Demi, is telling the locals how to act and what to do,
"Can somebody please tag me when he upload again?? I’m worried," another said.
LADbible Group has previously contacted Dara Tah for comment.
