
Talking about sex was once something of a taboo but it seems as if the whole world now wants to know about what everybody gets up to in the bedroom.
Maybe it's thanks to celebrities sharing one too many details that we've all collectively decided that sharing is caring, and I'm not just talking about sharing sexy secrets, as there's plenty who love to have more than one partner.
After all, why shouldn't we be positive about sex when it can have so many benefits, both for our physical and mental health?
That was emphasised pretty clearly on a recent video by the popular YouTube channel Cut, who usually focus on getting parents to guess their children's secret boyfriend or girlfriend.

But on this occasion they took a closer look at couples who were already together but hadn't yet been intimate with each other, to compare the difference in their mood and relationships after doing the deed.
While this might sound a little too similar to Virgin Island for you, especially since they even had an 'intimacy coordinator' on site, it's clear that none of the six people involved were on their first time.
Either that, or they all had beginner's luck, since the videographers were all invited back into the rooms of the couples after 45 minutes, one hour and two hours respectively, which blows most UK males out of the water when it comes to average times in the bedroom.
The video, which can be watched below, follows a similar theme of how people's mood instantly improves after sex (unless it's particularly bad sex of course), as reaching a positive climax will of course send plenty of dopamine to your brain.
Although there's some intense moments, particularly with the tantric polyamorous couple, things are generally quite sweet afterwards and you can also appreciate how being intimate with each other has helped each couple in their own way, whether it being more in love or just more comfortable around each other.
Cut said: "Couples were left alone with cameras rolling before they decided to be fully intimate with each other. They were in charge of when to stop recording and when to turn the cameras back on.
"We're so thankful that these couples were willing to share such an intimate/vulnerable moment in their relationship."

It's also worth remembering that, even if you're a little upset with your partner, then there can be some problems that arise if you put off having sex for too long.
Christine Rafe spoke to Womaniser to explain how the body changes to be less ready for sex, saying: "In the same way we might experience a reduced confidence, muscle tightness and overall de-conditioning from not exercising, people who haven’t had sex, or who stop having sex for prolonged periods may experience de-conditioning to sexual activities and find that they have muscle tightness or soreness, difficulties in ejaculatory control and a loss of confidence in sexual activity."
