Fast food fans have been left distraught after KFC removed the 80-piece popcorn chicken bucket from its menu.
The massively popular dish was only launched last month (February) and already proved to be a hit with customers.
But according to reports in The Sun, it was its 'huge popularity' that led to the decision to call it a day.

And fans are very sad.
Taking to social media, one person wrote: "Just went to kfc to get that 80 popcorn chicken. Found out they don't do it any more fuming."
A second commented: "Really wanted a @KFC_UKI 80-piece popcorn chicken bucket before they stopped selling it. Queued for 20 mins at the drive thru since seating was closed..only to be told they've already stopped selling them!!! Fuming! And, didn't get a receipt so no chicken stamps either!"

"Because of coronavirus I won't get to experience the KFC 80 piece popcorn chicken. Thanks a lot Auntie Rona," posted a third.
LADbible has contacted KFC for comment.
Setting customers back just £5.99, the bargain bucket was launched after having been trialled across 10 stores in Glasgow, Scotland, in October last year.
At first it was reported that customers needed to be signed up to the KFC app and the loyalty scheme - the Colonel's Club - to get their hands on the bucket (which is recommended to be shared between four people).

But in a bid to get the tasty treat to more people, KFC announced that it was to go on general sale.
Writing on Twitter, the fried chicken giant said: "Just to confirm: you don't need the app to claim the offer. Just walk into your local restaurant and ask for the Popcorn Bucket because we're nice like that."
The post continued: "(You should still definitely get the app though and I am absolutely not saying this because the Head of App threatened to two foot me at the next 5 a-side if I didn't...)"
A KFC Spokesperson said: "We knew our Popcorn Chicken was loved, but we never anticipated quite how loved our 80 piece Popcorn Sharing Bucket would be! It was always a limited edition and it's now been taken off our menus, but watch this space... we're hoping to bring it back soon."
