Mum Calls Priest To Bless Home After 'Weird' Spooky Figure Seen On CCTV

A mum was so spooked by a strange shadowy figure captured on her home surveillance camera that she had to call in a priest to 'bless the house'. Watch the creepy footage below:

Maxine Hughes, who lives in Barrowfield in Glasgow, was shocked to find footage of a 'weird' shadow on her CCTV camera, having first spotted it by the caravan parked in her garden.

In fact, there were multiple 'unexplained sightings', having also been clocked circling the garden while she watched her child play outside.

Hughes, who lives with her partner and their two children - aged six and 12 - said she ended up having to ask a priest to come round.

She also reached out to her sister, Nicki Mulheron, who later posted the eerie footage online.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Hughes said: "My partner was up during the night and saw it on the camera. It's all happened over the last week and a half. It's so weird.

"We even had a priest out the other day to bless the house.

"I sent it to my sister and asked what it was because she is into spooky stuff."

Hughes said her partner's son has been staying calm, despite the bizarre sightings.

"Ashton is 12 and he's heard us talking about it, he is alright," she continued.

"I told him the priest had been out and there was nothing to worry about."

Her sister posted the clip on Facebook, with Hughes also sharing a screengrab from another incident in the comments, creeping others out further.

Mulheron wrote: "Gonna look what my sister caught on her camera. Wtf is that?"

Many people commented to say the clip was 'spooky' and 'freaky s***', while others advised Hughes to get the 'Ghostbuster crew' in to help.

One said: "Omfg what is this?"

Another person said: "It's defo a person u can see it clear as day."

Debbie Meiklejohn, who also lives in the street, said the footage had scared residents, also offering up her opinion of what she thought it looked like.

She told the Daily Record: "This second video has totally freaked the whole street out and it's in full form now.

"It appears then disappears on the right side but in a shape of horse and human legs."
