A tattooed man who transformed himself into a 'real life orc' from The Lord of the Rings is on the way to becoming a movie star, as well as having another baby with his 'bat' wife

The father-of-one has spent years transforming himself through body modification and has now landed himself a role in a film.

Rico Ledesma, 41, lives in Brazil with his wife, 25-year-old Krishna Insomnia and their daughter.

He's got about 34,600 followers on Instagram and regularly shares his unusual life with them all.

Rico and Krishna, who is a body piercer who also goes by the name bat, met each other on the internet and are set to welcome their second child into the world before too long.

Rico has spent a long time making himself look like one of JRR Tolkien's orcs and has even given himself fake tusks (which cost £400) and eight subdermal piercings to complete the look.

On top of that, he's had his tongue split and his eyeballs tattooed.

Rico explained: "I started to change seven years ago in order to look different but the project to look like an Orc is less than a year old.

"I got six false teeth placed in August 2020 and I'm going to put two bigger ones in, even though I'm having trouble eating and drinking.

"The new Orc modification project consisted of the implantation of two more tusks (two large teeth), body paintings which are almost all in black with some grey spots and some burns and modifications."

"Today I have 85 percent of my body tattooed.

"The teeth were the final touch to the Orc project and came after a lot of study and sleepless nights."

Now, his unique look has attracted the attentions of film producer Michel Reilhac, who is best known for his work on Snow White and The Intruder.

He's given Rico a role in a forthcoming project.

Rico said: "We will start filming in October in Barcelona and the Canary Islands.

"I can't say much about the film but I can say that it will be innovative and playful - something that has never been seen before in cinema.

"Me and the whole team are very anxious for the cinema debut."

As for his new arrival, Rico hopes that they will love his appearance, just like his young daughter does.

He added: "She loves and supports me in all my transformations.

"If one day in the very distant future she wants to make some changes to her appearance too, I will be proud of her."
