“I’m so blessed to be raised by a woman who loves the world as much as her own children.”

With coursework deadlines, exams and trying to navigate the world as a (nearly) adult, University life can be stressful enough as it is. Let alone if you throw being a parent into the mix.

This was the case for a student at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia, who was stumped when she couldn't find a babysitter before class.

Thankfully, she made it through with the help of her incredible professor, Dr. Ramata Sissoko Cissé, 51, who not only taught the lesson, but did so while carrying the student's child on her back.

Last week, the professor's daughter, Anna Cissé, posted a picture of her amazing mum on Twitter as she teaches the three-hour biology session while looking after the tot with a homemade wrap-style carrier.

Anna wrote: "My mom is my role model. her student couldn't find a babysitter today & being the true African mother that she is, taught a THREE hour class with the baby on her back & fed him.

"I'm so blessed to be raised by a woman who loves the world as much as her own children."

The picture has gone viral since it was posted on September 19, garnering over 11,000 retweets and nearly 60,000 likes.

There are thousands of comments too, from people reaching out to praise the mother for showing such empathy and love - not to mention being a total badass and carrying a kid while teaching a three hour science class.

"Thank her so much for being so kind and setting such a good example. You're family is very blessed," wrote one user, while another said, "Your mom is a true woman! Tough, full of empathy and resourceful. God bless her!"

A third simply wrote: "What a woman".

A number of comments were also made from Dr. Sissoko's other students, including one who said, "Your mother was the absolute BEST anatomy professor I've ever had!"

"Crazy how I'm taking her now and she was literally telling us about how happy this made her yesterday," said another.

Looks like this woman has made an impact on numerous lives this week - even more than usual.

And just when you felt this professor couldn't be more of a superwoman, Anna Cissé wrote underneath her post that her mum runs a charity that funds children in Mali to go to school

"My mom also runs a non-profit organisation called Gourma-Himi in which she sponsors children for school in Mali," she said.
