Vegetarian 'Traumatised' After Cooking Sausage That Looked 'Like Pig With Snout And Ears' For Boyfriend

Oh dear.

A vegetarian says she's been 'traumatised' after she cooked a sausage for her meat-eating boyfriend, only to be horrified when it came out looking 'like a pig' with a snout and ears.

Take a look at the shocking sight below:

While the family eat meat-free most of the time, Chrissie Anker, 21, from Bedfordshire, decided to treat her boyfriend Joe Williams, 25, and their little girl, to sausage and chips.

But once the sausages were cooked, Chrissie was 'disgusted' to see one looked like it had ears and a snout.

"I usually cook vegetarian food for him and our daughter every night," says Chrissie, who has been a veggie for four years.

"I thought I'd give him something different because I felt bad, it's a rare treat in our house.

"I noticed what looked like ears. I was telling Joe then when I opened the door, it looked like it had a snout as well.

She was horrified at what she discovered.

"I was so disgusted, I thought it was horrible. I took a picture of it to show my family because I thought it was funny, but I had to delete it straight away because it was so horrible."

Chrissie was so horrified that she was even surprised when boyfriend Joe managed to eat it - despite its resemblance to the animal.

"It's not something I expected," she continued.

"I decided to give him some meat and when I looked in the oven while they were cooking, it looked like a pig.

"When I'm cooking meat, I usually get quite stressed that it's not going to be cooked properly so I check on it a lot.

"I'd always wanted to be vegetarian. I just really like animals and I've not really ever been that bothered about meat.\

"Joe thought it was really funny as well. I asked him if he was going to still eat it because it looked like an actual pig - he still did."

Chrissie shared the photo on social media with followers, explaining that some meat eaters even vowed never to touch sausages again in the future after seeing the post.

"I just thought it was quite funny so I just posted it, but I wasn't expecting so many people to see it," says Chrissie.

"Loads of people were saying it's really gross and others said they were meat eaters but this made them not want to eat sausages again."
