You may know Ronnie Pickering as the bloke who went viral after a video of him rowing with a moped driver was posted online in 2015.

Well, more bizarre vehicle-based Ronnie Pickering content is doing the rounds now.

Mr Pickering didn't seem too fussed about the crash.

He's been pictured casually supping on a pint right next to a car that crashed through a beer garden.

The accident happened on Friday afternoon outside The Saltshouse pub in Dungevan Road, Hull, UK, where it is believed an elderly woman lost control of her blue Toyota Yaris before 'shooting through' the pub's garden.

Mr Pickering didn't seem to give two s**ts about the unusual crash though as he continued to enjoy a pint next to the mashed up vehicle. However, the picture doesn't tell the full story, as Mr Pickering said he was actually a 'bit surprised' to find the mangled car in the beer garden.

Speaking to Hull Live, he said: "I was only coming to the Salthouse Tavern for a bite to eat and was a bit surprised to see this.

"It looks like the car must have took off and ploughed nose first into the area where people sit.

"Luckily, no one was sitting outside or who knows what would have happened. It wouldn't have been good."

The driver received treatment inside the pub.

Nobody else is thought to have been inside the car and the driver received treatment from paramedics inside the pub.

Dale King, who tends to the gardens at The Saltshouse, believes the driver had clipped the kerb and lost control before shooting through the tables.

The 56-year-old said: "I thought it was a joyrider at first because you only see this sort of thing when it is joyriders.

"When I found out it was an old woman my concerns went to her. Poor woman, she will be shook up."

Ronnie's rant that went viral five years ago has been immortalised in the city with a plaque. It was put up by Drunk Animal Creative Studio through its 'Alternative Heritage' plaque project, which aims to pay tribute to 'living legends and stories that make our city special'.

Speaking previously about his celebrity status, Mr Pickering said: "A lot of people approach me wanting selfies taking with me, but I'm always polite and I always agree.

"You can't win. People think, 'Who does that bloke think he is?' but if I was rude to them they'd have a go at me for that, too."
