Side-eyeing Chloe has recreated her viral facial expression, seven years on. Watch the reprisal of the side-eye here:

Chloe was only two when she pulled the face that would alter the course of her life irreversibly.

Her mum was filming her and sister Lily in the back of the car in 2013, knowing she was about to surprise them with a trip to Disneyland.

But it wasn't Lily's jubilant tears that made the video a viral hit - it was Chloe's seemingly unimpressed side-eye.

Now, Chloe has recounted exactly what went down, throwing in a recreation of the side-eye for good measure.

In a TikTok video, she recalled: "Well, I was two-years-old sitting in my car seat, and my sister was crying because my parents just said we were going to Disneyland.

"So she was just crying, and I was just watching her cry, and then all of a sudden I do the face that I always do... And the rest is history."

She's still got it.

The original video on YouTube has now been viewed more than 20 million times, but that doesn't really paint the full picture. If you factor in how many times that side-eye meme has been used as a response to a dubious tweet, Lord only knows how many people have seen it.

Looking back on that fateful day in 2019, Chloe's mum told BuzzFeed Video: "Chloe didn't even come into my mindset at that point. This time, Chloe made the face - which she always made, every day, it was nothing new.

"So when I panned over and she made the face I didn't think anything of it.

"I recorded it that day, uploaded it that day, we went straight to Disneyland and it was insane."

She continued: "If I could go back, I probably wouldn't change anything, because it's been such a great experience.

"I feel like nothing could be changed. Chloe has fun, Lily has fun, we laugh, we joke.

"There's one thing that I've learned - you cannot control it. Once it's out, it's out, and you're never gonna get it back."

Chloe probably has no desire to get it back either, as the 10-year-old now has 577,000 followers on Instagram and her own line of merch.

Funny old world, isn't it?

Yes, those trousers really do exist. She also sells T-shirts, tie-dye hoodies, socks, blankets and water bottles.

What a story, eh? Right face, right time.
