An Instagram model has been rumbled after she posed for photos for her social media in the business class section of an aeroplane before reportedly returning to her seat in economy class for the duration of the flight.
OK, before we start, there's nothing wrong with travelling in economy class. It's a significantly cheaper way to get about, for starters.
Secondly, only those who have more cash than they need, or are travelling on someone else's dime are going to be in business class.
However, that doesn't mean you should try to convince your followers online that you are travelling in there when you're not.
There's already enough people playing fast and loose with the truth on the internet, and it's just setting yourself up for a fall.
Either way, this is what happened to Instagrammer Oceane El Himer when she tried to convince everyone online that she was travelling from Dubai to Monaco in the posh seats.
She shared an initial photograph of herself wearing a specific outfit standing in front of one of the expensive seats of the aircraft.
You know, the ones that turn into a bed and everything?
Then, someone - probably someone who recognised her and spotted an opportunity to bring her down a peg - shared a snap showing Oceane wearing the exact same outfit while sitting in the normal seats with everyone else.
It's a cruel world out there, but it's made easier if you don't pretend to be doing something you aren't.
Remember, everyone is a paparazzi nowadays.
She would have got away with it to, if it hadn't been for those pesky devices that literally everyone has.
Perhaps she can cheers herself up with the knowledge that she saved a whole heap of cash by flying in with everyone else?
Or, she could remember that she's not the only person to have pulled a flex like this before.
In fact, she's not even the most famous.
Back in 2017, rapper Lil Bow Wow - or is he just Bow Wow now? - was caught in the act after sharing a photograph claiming to be flying to New York via private jet.
In the end, someone snapped another shot of him sitting in the coach seats of another aircraft, writing: "So this guy lil bow wow is on my flight to NY. But on instagram he posted a picture of a private jet captioned 'traveling to NY today' smh,"
In short, that means that he was on the same plane, and not in his private jet.
The moral of the story, folks, is not to try to present an image on the internet that is too different from reality.
Certainly try not to get caught doing it, if you can.
