Man Says Carrot Is 'Too Rude' To Give To His Kids

A couple say they were left in hysterics after opening up a bag of carrots to find one shaped like a pair of legs with a teeny willy.

Matthew Whitaker, 43, said his missus Amy, 32, called him into the kitchen the other day after spotting the rude carrot among their Tesco delivery.

The dad-of two, who lives in St Just in Penwith, Cornwall, said: "We'd had it delivered so I was bringing the shopping in from the front door and Amy was unpacking it.

"She shouted me to come to the kitchen urgently, I thought something was wrong at first.

"But she was holding a carrot that looked like a pair of legs with a penis on show.

"When she showed me, we fell about laughing."

Amy decided to share a photo of the carrot on social media with the caption: "Love rude veg." She was predictably flooded with comments from her pals who made jokes about the size of the carrot's manhood. Leave it alone, it might have been cold in the kitchen that day.

Matthew, originally from Bradford, said: "We had a chuckle, it brought a bit of light relief during these uncertain times."

He added that he planned to cook and eat the carrot because he is a 'typical Yorkshireman' who wants to make sure he gets his money's worth from the supermarket.

However, he did say he wouldn't be feeding the carrot to his kids as it was 'too rude'.

Bizarrely, this isn't the first rude carrot to hit the headlines this year.

Back in February, Michael Coates, from Stokesley, in North Yorkshire, pulled out a similar looking carrot from a bag of Tesco carrots - however, he said he wouldn't be eating his and wanted to keep it as a sort of weird souvenir.

He said: "It's incredible. I opened it up and there it was, in full glory. I just thought: 'What the heck?'

"What are the chances? It resembles a human being - and a naked one at that! It's unreal. It looks like a pair of legs and a penis. It was strange - but really funny.

"I thought: 'I can't bin that one'. I have put it in the fridge for now. But I know I'll have to throw it out eventually - it will go off."
