A man has shared why he has over 600 KSI-themed tattoos all over his body.
People do a lot of things for views, followers and attention on social media but this one might take the cake.
For those who don't know, KSI is a British content creator best known for his YouTube videos and content with his group, The Sidemen.
Real name Olajide Olatunji, he first rose to fame in the early 2010s with his FIFA content before branching out to more comedy content and arguably the videos he's best known for with his mates.
The Sidemen were formed in 2013 and consists of KSI, Miniminter, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, TBJZL, W2S and Zerkaa - the YouTube supergroup are known for making weekly content on their channel, ranging from sports challenges to cheap vs expensive travel videos.
Arguably though, KSI is the most recognisable name of the bunch.
Someone decided to cover their body in tattoos dedicated to the YouTube star (Neil Mockford/WireImage) But why would someone want to get one, let alone 600, tattoos of the content creator?
With over 16.7 million subscribers on his own channel and over 22.7 million with the Sidemen, it's fair to say that he's one of the biggest social media presences of all time, and someone has decided to honour him with, err, permanent ink.
Sopa Tattoos has over 14.5k followers on TikTok and has been documenting his journey with KSI tattoos as what started with a few dedicated to the 'Holiday' singer developed to become well over 600.
This includes eight face tattoos, as he explained in a video to followers: "I'm the guy who did 600 tattoos of KSI's name and I did a tattoo of him every single day until he called me and I'm still waiting for a phone call,
"And I just wanna say that this is only the beginning. I'm gonna actually do 1,000 KSI tattoos at October 1st."
He told viewers to 'stay tuned' and to turn his notifications on as he wants his 'whole body covered in KSI'.
It's a bit of a rogue obsession but it turns out that KSI may already have contacted him about this odd stunt.
In a separate video on his page, it looks like the boxer already replied to his outrageous videos, writing back: "Bro pls stop," with laughing emojis, adding: "I've messaged you, you can stop now," with more laughing emojis.
It doesn't look like he found it too funny either, as KSI blocked Sopa Tattoos after the exchange, though the man behind the stunt is insistent that he'll only stop if the content creator calls him.
The TikToker is aiming to have 1000 KSI tattoos come 1 October (TikTok/@sopas_tattoos) In another recent video, the TikToker showed that he replied to KSI saying that he'd stop getting tattoos, but claimed that the 32-year-old was joking due to his use of laughing emojis.
Essentially, the show goes on and we might see the first person in history to have 1000 tattoos dedicated to someone else.
Some of the ink in his body includes the KSI logo, the Sidemen logo, KSI's old Lamborghini and several writings of his name, among many other brands to do with the content creator.
Why, oh why?
