When the news broke that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were to split up earlier this week, the media went into overdrive. It was not just your usual mainstream media, but social media, too. We've all seen the Jennifer Aniston GIFS, and, whether you're interested or not, you've got to admit it's been hard to avoid.
What we need in all this is a voice of reason. Step forward mother-fucking Samuel L Jackson. He appeared on Good Morning Britain and when asked what he thought about the split he shrugged his shoulders and laughed.

When the interviewer said: "It's just sad, isn't it?" Samuel replied: "Is it? Really? It's life! People carry on and people do what they do.
"There's a huge segment of America that still think what he did to Jennifer Aniston was just wrong and are overjoyed that the wicked witch [Angelina Jolie] lost her husband.
"There's another segment that think it is sad and there's a dissolution of another family. I don't know why it's everybody's business, or why people care anyway."
Well said, mate. You can always rely on Samuel to say what we're all thinking.
