Scarlett Johansson Lookalike Says There Are 'A Lot Of Downsides' To Looking Like The Star

Ekaterina Shumskaya - known as Kate Johansson online - has a whopping 8.3 million followers across her various social media platforms due to her uncanny resemblance to the Marvel actor.

And while you might think it would be a dream come true to look like the stunning star, Kate says it's not without its bad points, with many people accusing her of undergoing surgery to look more like Johansson.

Kate was just a teenager when people began to notice her similarities to the actor and now regularly shares videos of herself dressing up as some of Johansson's most famous roles, including Natasha Romanoff from Black Widow and Avengers.

Kate said: "When I was 14, one of my classmates told me that I looked like her and started showing me pictures of her. I hadn't noticed the similarities before then.

"There are a lot of downsides, actually. For example, people shame me for having a lot of surgeries done, even though I had none - it's all genes and natural beauty.

"Also, I often get blamed for 'using my similarity to Scarlett for my own good', which is weird because I can't change my face.

"I don't have a partner at the moment but a lot of men tell me that I look like Scarlett or even call me by her name in the DMs, which is a bit sad."

Despite the negatives, Kate says she 'loves' being compared to her idol, but is always quick to point out to people she isn't the real Johansson.

She added: "I love being compared to her. Who wouldn't like being compared to their idol? She is a very beautiful, charismatic, sophisticated and elegant woman.

"I have been stopped in the street before by people thinking I actually am her, but I put them straight pretty quickly."

Kate's popularity online continues to grow, with one of her recent clips racking up an incredible 83 million views.

Commenting on the clip, one follower said: "You could replace Scarlett Johansson and I don't think anyone would notice."

While another added: "She looks more like Johansson than Scarlett."

A third person said: "You're telling me this isn't Scarlett?"
