‘Vicious’ horror dubbed 'most accurate depiction of a pure sociopath’ available to watch for free

A ‘vicious’ horror movie has been praised for being the ‘most accurate depiction of a pure sociopath’, and the best thing is – you can watch it for free.

The film continues a fascinating trend of online comedians transitioning with success into horror.

Jordan Peele is the most high profile example of this, having transitioned from Key and Peele to making modern horror classics such as Get Out and Us.

He was joined recently by the Philippou brothers with their debut film Talk To Me, which was a massive success.

The Philippou brothers found success on YouTube as RackaRacka in which they created wild comedy skits.

Now though, another comedian has joined their ranks with a horror film which fans have been raving about.

The film in question is called Milk & Serial, and was created by online comedian Curry Barker.

The found-footage horror was made for just £600 and was uploaded to YouTube – and yet it has received rave reviews, over 800,000 views, and plaudits from The Guardian.

The synopsis reads: “When a surprise birthday prank goes terribly wrong, two social media influencers must face the devastating consequences that come after.”

The Guardian’s Stuart Heritage said of the film: “It’s a grisly, creepy, fat-free hour; deliberately grungy and horribly believable.

“With Milk & Serial, Barker has proved that he’s able to turn out deft, compelling horror movies – and run a profit on them – by delivering them straight to audiences for free.”

Bloody Disgusting, a horror-focused website, said of the film: “Milk & Serial is an exceptional vehicle for Barker and [co-star Cooper] Tomlinson’s singular talents both in front of and behind the camera.

“The duo’s passion for horror and gift of twisted DIY storytelling are evident from the film’s opening scene.

Milk & Serial is ultimately a wild ride that delivers in spades, elevated by the duo’s impressive ingenuity and ability to capture a sense of authenticity often difficult to achieve in the found footage horror subgenre.”

This is not just one for the critics, with viewers also loving it.

One comment on YouTube said: “Probably the most accurate depiction of a pure sociopath.”

Another read: “An $800.00 budget, and so much better than a lot of horror movies being released.

“A simple story, executed near perfectly. I do hope Curry Barker, and Cooper Tomlinson puts out more material soon. These guys clearly have talent. Thanks for posting.”

A third said: “I'm 60 years young. Guys, ...This is the best film I've seen this year.. I was riveted from start to finish.

“Would love to see what you could do with a Hollywood budget. Curry, well done. $800 budget....wow.”
