Oasis fans have been left receiving two different emails when they sign up to presale tickets for the band's highly anticipated reunion tour 15 years after breaking up.

Liam and Noel Gallagher got the iconic rock 'n' roll band back together this week, sending shockwaves through the music industry and minds of millions of fans now desperate to now get their hands on tickets to the pending tour.

With 14 dates in the UK and Ireland announced by Oasis, millions are set to try their luck at securing tickets when they go on sale on Saturday morning (31 August).

After announcing the gigs, Oasis launched a presale ballot on the evening of the reunion announcement which once again sent fans into a frenzy, with Britpop lovers desperate to secure tickets ahead of Saturday's mad-dash.

Those signing up to enter the presale ballot were given a message once submitting their details, with it reading: "Nearly there... confirmation emails may be delayed, due to an extremely high volume of entries."

And despite people submitting their ballot early on Tuesday evening, fans have been left anxiously waiting the morning after with many taking to social media to confirm they've not got their ballot confirmation yet, despite many others securing their entry.

One X user said: "I’ve only seen ONE person say they’ve got a confirmation email about Oasis presale tickets? Is it just me missing out?"

Another wrote: "Pretty sure I'm the only one who didn't get the Oasis presale confirmation email," while a third posted: "I filled it out 10 hours ago but still no confirmation email. Help."

And a fourth added: "Anyone not received the confirmation email about the presale ballot? Best believe I used every email address I have and nothing on any of them a whole 12 hours later."

Those interested in securing tickets have noticed that fans are getting two different emails when it comes to securing access to the presale.

One email was telling fans about the presale ballot, saying: "Due to the high demand for tickets, and to ensure the maximum number of fans have a fair opportunity to purchase early access tickets, applicants will be selected for presale access via ballot."

It added that ballot registration comes to an end at 7pm on Wednesday (28 August), with those success getting their access codes on the morning of Friday.

"Success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis," it adds.

But the second email - which has been sent out to so-called 'loyal fans' - confirms that if you have this email and sign up, you'll automatically secure a place in the ballot and a definitive chance to try and buy tickets in the presale on Friday afternoon.

It says: "We've identified you as a loyal fan of Oasis. To thank you for your support, you will automatically be selected if you correctly register and confirm entry in the presale ballot before it closes."

No confirmation as to what a 'loyal fan' is has been given, but fans have assumed it means you've been signed up to the Oasis newsletter for some time.

One Oasis fan account wrote on X: "Right, done some digging. I believe two different emails were sent out from Oasis. One for 'loyal fans' giving them a guaranteed pre sale code and one for the ballot.

"I could be wrong but I received two different emails from Oasis. Suggesting that one of them is a guaranteed promo code."
