Aussie Has Hilarious Theory On Why Kmart’s Coffee Grinder Is Always Mysteriously Sold Out

Put it this way, people aren't using the item to grind coffee.

There are loads of items in Kmart's stocklist that are highly prized.

However, it seems like the company's $14 coffee bean grinder is at that top of the list as it's seemingly always sold out online, according to news.com.au.

It's a frustrating circumstance for all those home coffee enthusiasts as they have to find somewhere else to buy a machine that will grind up their precious beans.

But an interesting theory has arisen on TikTok as to why this item, out of everything that Kmart offers, is such a big seller.

TikTokker @skon411 uploaded a video highlighting how the review section for the coffee bean grinder is very insightful.

It's been flooded with five star reviews and one customer said: "I use this for something other than what is recommended, works really well."

Another added: "Best herb grinder you can buy for that money."

A third wrote: "Love this muzza. Perfect for herbs."

It seems loads of people are using this grinder to crush up their cannabis as well as spices (but, let's be honest, the majority are doing it for the former).

One person responded to @skon411's video suggested this is the reason why some Kmart stores have the product locked behind a security counter.

The video has been seen by more than 350,000 people and many have been shocked by the revelation.

"I went into Kmart to get a new one and there weren't any there and the worker next to me said 'you're gonna have to go back to the scissors mate'," said one user.

Another added: "I walked into Kmart an asked if they have a muzzer and she was like 'uh do you mean a coffee grinder?' Yah that's what I meant."

A third wrote: "I think I'm the only person who uses the Kmart coffee grinder for coffee."

The store hasn't responded to claims their products are used for something other than their intended use, but, then again, that's not really their problem.
