Ron Jeremy Indicted On More Than 30 Sexual Assault Charges

Ron Jeremy has been indicted on dozens of sexual assault charges.

A Grand Jury in Los Angeles has unsealed the 34 indictments against the 68-year-old and prosecutors allege he abused 21 women during a 23-year period.

The infamous adult film star pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of forcible rape, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person and one count each of sodomy by the use of force, assault with intent to commit rape and lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15.

He was first charged in June last year with sexually assaulting four women, however the investigation has expanded dramatically since then as more alleged victims came forward.

After the indictment was unsealed, District Attorney George Gascón said: "Far too often, survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation.

"We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for healing and support to report such crimes."

Jeremy has previously denied all allegations of improper conduct against him.

The adult film star previously spoke out against sexual assault claims in November 2017, when he made a statement to Rolling Stone: "These allegations are pure lies or buyers' remorse.

"I have never and would never rape anyone. All serious allegations have been investigated by police and dismissed by judges, as have most of the accusations of 'groping.' I have never been charged nor spent one day in court for any of this."

Prosecutors allege Jeremy raped a 19-year-old woman during a photoshoot in 1996, a 26-year-old woman at a nightclub in 2000, and a 17-year-old girl in 2008.

He's also been accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in 2004, a 38-year-old woman in 2013 and a young woman at a strip club in either 2002 or 2003.

The 68-year-old is due back in court on October 12 for a pretrial conference.
